A Gnarly Clock
Direct-to-production design and digital manufacturing using resin 3d printing.
A clock designed for my parents' kitchen, designed to be manufactured by 3D printing high resolution resin parts and integrating the mechanical hardware.
This was a fun project to explore some of our generative organic model studies using dynamic simulation and mesh modeling to tailor geometry for additive manufacturing. Joints and alignments were integrated into the parts, and pieces were manufactured on our Form 1+ printer.
