A major spatial and material facelift for this mountain kitchen in Reno, NV. We opened up the space by removing heavy elements, connecting across rooms, and enlarging the picture windows.
A kitchen is the greatest convergence of function, form, and material as they all must work together to create a cohesive and effective space for living.
Designing an managing the remodel from thousands of miles away in NYC we were able to transform the home beyond the clients expectations and work smoothly with the local contractor. The project even won a local award for best partial remodel.
